UK Javelin vs US TOW

A LIGHT HEARTED video showing the difference in tact in the use of Anti-Tank weapons! PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION FIRST.....

NOTE: The original Javelin Anti-Tank design is from the US, made by a joint partnership between the Raytheon and Lockheed Martin. The upgraded British version's improved optics being sub-contracted to BAE Systems in the UK, where they are added. The UK version also has a tripod. Both improvements EXTEND the 'stated' range by 500m, a 20% gain on the original system.

The TOW and later Advanced TOW and Top-Down TOW are all-American. The initial Javelin design is also American.

For those who think this is a serious competition between the UK & US, please re-read the first description paragraph...it's about the reactions of the soldiers and the cultural difference, not the systems they are using...

PS) Those who think the UK JAVELIN is still the designation for an obsolete UK MANPAD Anti Air system.....that went out a long time ago.

@0001Brit Personally I believe that the buyers of said arms could care less where they get them from as long as the weapon in question is a well-made and well designed one. Lets face it both the UK and US made good weapons, and we both use each others, so why is there an argument?

@TheCollinLEfty You got me wrong. I don't care who makes the best implements for killing people. Britain and the US are both very good at it, unfortunately. The saying I was referring to is "I could care less" which is illogical. The expression, when stated logically, is "I couldn't care less"

@thebaskill No, it was called a 'Peace Treaty'...look up the Treaty of Ghent. That's why the War of 1812 finished... Britain achieved all of it's objectives...the USA achieved none. And we managed that victory while we were kicking the crap out of the French in Europe! :-)
