"If I were a Boy" Girls Violence Prevention Forum

Images of Us (IOU) Sports invited girls ages 13 - 18 from the community to our gender responsive forum offering girls a safe place to be with other girls.

The goal of this event was to teach girls about healthy, balanced relationships. Additionally, this event empowered girls to assess their friendships and relationships and make informed decisions by asking the question, "If I were a Boy?"

College Bound or Bust
Exposed students to college life and increased their knowledge of post-secondary options, available financial aid and scholarships, high school courses needed to enter college and other entrance requirements.

Hip Hop Learn and Perform
"If I were a Boy," dance routine." Participants got active, learned and performed!
