6 day tour of some important spiritual sites in Ireland, including Devenish Island monastic settlement, Newgrange, Knowth, Inisrath Island, St. Patrick's Cathedral, The Book of Kells, Monasterboice and walks through remote peatland habitat as 'Spirit of the Land'. See www.inisrath.com for details.

Participants stay at Inisrath Island, where there is a Hare Krishna temple. They have further options, such as taking part in meditation, yoga and exotic vegetarian cookery workshops.

The tour is conducted by Tim McEvitt (picture at 2:38 in this video) who had previously lived as a monk on the island for 8 years.

  • Cant see a connection between ancient Ireland and the asian style doll on 3;35 or any of the other asian influences in the video but HEY....... its a free world! Big FAILTE ROMHAT duinne bith, welcome to IRELAND!!

  • Dia dhuit, that's a fair comment. (I'm Irish by the way - red hair and pale skin and all!)

People who follow the Vedic culture of ancient India understand that millennia ago everyone in the world was influenced by this culture. Later, this connection was largely forgotten. Modern day Indo-European languages all come from Sanskrit. If you google 'Irish Sanskrit' you can read about it

The people who built Newgrange, for example, were hardly cavemen - they were part of a bigger global picture
