An overproduced video review of Metroid Other M, this video takes a good hard look at the latest addition to the acclaimed video game series. Will Other M be welcomed into the Metroid family with open arms? Or is it that strange uncle that nobody wants to talk to? I could literally write anything at this point, nobody reads the video descriptions, thats why I never change them if I make a spelling mistake or some other stupid thing. Just watch the video.

  • man! Some people need to chill about other M and Samus being afraid of ridley and such. This is just a game people! Samus Aran doesn't even exist, like some other heroes that we know as example Superman, who is weak against a green stone. Samus is just a fictional hero that was given emotion to make her look real. Don't ruin the game for others that are actually wanting to just play the game and not focus too much on something so tiny as emotions.

  • @MrMetroid1998 Meaning to criticize Mr. Sakamoto and his affiliates for the horrible job they have done, and not the game for being horrible itself. We attribute that as one of Nintendo's rare failures.

  • Man you guys are really dense. The game is not sexist. It has extremely bad writing, which to the inexperienced critic would think it was such. And arguably that if some themes throughout the game were intentionally done as they were, they would indeed confirm many criticisms made by players. But such is not the case, as Mr. Sakamoto did not do an acceptable job writing the script.

  • i will leave you to dawdle in contemplation of what just happened.

  • @executableapplet All characters even strong and independent characters have flaws, your comments are pointless, your the one who can't complete fought.

  • @executableapplet At least I'm not the one who failed to realize that Samus Aran needed to be rescued in games prior to Other M, like the time shes falling down the shaft with Ridley and needed Rundus to help catch her, and Samus Aran was still a strong and Independent character in this game, or the intro to Metroid Fusion when she lost concousness and needed the Galatic Federation to save her. There are lots of heroes thad could have done nothing to save themselves without help ore rescue.

  • @MrMetroid1998 i can see why your messages are incessantly flagged. apart from your inability to complete a thought, I will argue that in those rescue events Samus could do nothing more to avoid a tragic end, no less save herself.

In short I will say this. In Other M, an otherwise independent and strong female lead, made "human", was deliberately given vulnerabilities which were sufficiently exploited, save to say all else is the result of bad writing to include accusations of sexism.

  • @executableapplet In Wind Waker link need to be rescued at least twice.

  • @executableapplet oh I forgot she needed help three times in Metroid Other M once, when Ridley was flying around with her scraping her against the wall, when a pre-adult Ridley had her pinned down and was trying to stab her, and when Adam stopped her from entering sector zero, but other then that she was totally independent in the game and I can think of plenty of times when Leon S Kenndy need saving in Residnet Evil 4 and at least once in Resident evil 2.

  • @executableapplet Lots of Heroes need help every now and again, in Resident Evil 4 the Village Cheif would have squashed Leon S Kenndy's guts out if Ada hadn't shot him, or in Resident Evil 2 the Tyrant would have sliced his A@@ if Ada haden't dropped the rocket launcher.
