Skippy was my pro back in the 70's
what a wonderful, talented & humble man. I am grateful to have known him. I remember the special occasions of the back flips we all stood in awe

Skippy is my Great-Uncle and I am very proud to say that I am related to this wonderful man. He has touched so many lives. Today, Novemeber 29th 2008 is his 79th Anniversary of when he put on his first pair of skates. And my family and I met him at the Rink to watch him do a couple of laps to celebrate. He did his last back flip at the age of 70. He is the most humble, down to earth person you will ever meet. And I love him with all my heart.

And I asd my love to that comment as well, even though I have never met him! Such a life! From competing against Dick Button, to a show business career, to influencing so many incredible California skaters! I am not sure if he is in the American Skating Hall of Fame, but he should be and we should encourage his inclusion. I am only on my 48th year on ice, but now I have an obvious record to shoot for! I'm in for 79, how about you!! best wishes to you all!!
