Pod Farm 2 Metal & EzDrummer dfh vst

A short demo track recorded using UX1. was trying to see how this thing would sound for home recordings etc... pls let me know what you think...

It sounds pretty good. The mixing could be improved upon, but the instruments sound clear in the recording. Should I buy Pod Farm?

@sixstainless well i'd suggest you wont there are more free vst stuff out there that have much better performance tahn pod famr 2 you just need a good sound card nothin more

What kind of sound card would you recommend? I was looking into this the other day , but it seemed like people weren't focusing on it

@n3m3s1s360 dont get ux-1 as a card interface if you ask me for the same amount of money you could get something better (dont get m-audio also).

The song is really good, and the drums sound good.

The guitar sound is cool , but sounds thin, without power.

You can Record 2 or 3 or more guitars playing the same.

It will make it sound more full , and heavier.

Or just duplicate your original track into many and it will do the same. But is better if you record each track separately .

The guitar needs more panning and turn the rythm guitar down other than that great mix

@AsSaintsFall yes of course :) but i haven't an idea how i will send 2 files which are both together 5 Gb. there are 2 .iso files you know...

The guitars sound good, the bass too, but the drums are...irritating, I used to have the same problems as you probably are with DKFH.  Something I found that helped a lot was that Toontrack decided to scoop the snare samples at 400 hz, which is where the snare 'box' sound is, try putting that back in on a seperate track, that should give you more room to turn down the compression! Sounds good though. ^_^
