Levon Ter-Petrosyan's speech on 26.10.2007

"I shall run for presidency. This is not a mere announcement. All kinds of pressure exerted on my proponents and terror unleashed by the tax service will be deemed as a violation of citizens' right. I assure you that they will be presented to the society and international structures," RA first President Levon Ter-Petrossian said at the October 26 rally.

According to the first president his nomination is determined by the pressure exerted on his proponents.

"I warn Armenia's high-ranking officials and policemen that any violence or encroachment upon citizens' rights is a crime and sooner or later they will stand trial for their misdeeds."
