St Croix is the very best hand crafting rod manufacturer in the world. We visited this Wisconsin based company and filmed complete hand crafting process. Part one

  • Just wish the mojo rods were made in the us why not you got the plant workers I know it's cheaper I guess

  • savagear are makein some really nice well priced rods

  • St. Croix, made in Minneapolis. Better sensitivity than G-Loomis and strength for a third the price.

  • @jsg2891 The st. croix premier series (around the 100 dollar mark are made in the US) and come with a 5 year warranty

  • i may be mistaken but i think the out of country rods are made in mexico..... still out of country so that doesn't really matter

  • seems like all the rod and reel companies are doing that..only the more expensive ones are american made now..the cutoff is right around 2-300 dollars, otherwise its being made in china.

  • I actually use a 7FT triumph surf rod for fishing striper. I've caught some football tuna and got a few dogfish sharks too and even though they aren't US made rods they still perform amazing. my only problem with them is unlike their more expensive rods they do not have the flexcoat finish on the entire blank its just the brushed graphite, so you have to be careful not to bang it on any rocks or you could chip the graphite.

  • This is an excellent video! Well done.

  • I wish all St. Croix rods could be made in USA, I feel sold out.... Better to buy a Chinese made St Croix? than cheap chinese rod? Screw the chinese series Triumph rods....

  • how would the triumph series be for big fish..i fish for tarpon and sharks from shore and was thinking of pairing a penn 320gt2 with a triumph st croix 7 foot heavy action
