Close to collision, just a reduction of speed and a right turn from the paramotor-pilot prevents this from ending in serious injury.
The paramotor pilot is not paying enough attention to the landing paraglider.

  • You're RIGHT, moron! This is higher than that. And, if you look, there is hardly any snow to fall on, and frozen ploughed ground is not as forgiving.

  • Seriously, ALWAYS have a 360° look around before take off ... I had the same kind of experience when beggining in paramotor ... Since then I always take a look around, even when I think I'm alone in a "desert" area. But yeah, taking off is a stressful phase with lot of things to think about ... Just stay focus guys! That 's the key o stay alive.
