These costumes look like they were designed by Erte`. He designed many of the costumes for Radio City Music Hall. This one looks like it inspired the 1934 production number called the "Glory of Easter" which still ran until 2005. (i believe that was the last Easter Show) Please give feedback to me if you know anything about these costumes. Thanks.

Imagine what it must have been like to attend the Ziegfeld Theater and watch the original show in 1927. There are photos online of the interiors and it's like a palace of dreams and that finale, of which this is a faithful reproduction, must have blown audiences away. Ethelind Terry was Rita in the stage show (see Woman in the Shoe on YT) but I do love Bebe in the part as well. I would dearly love to see the complete movie!

This was not hand colored: It was filmed with Two Color Technicolor. A two strip color on film process.
