  • Because hossein rezazadeh, brian siders, and michael koklyeav would have a tough time burying 765 that deep, and coming up that fast . If these names are foreign to you, you have no business commenting on anything bodybuilding, powerlifting, or olympic lifting.

and btw muscle missions is in no way "natural", no doubt he is an accomplished bodybuilder, and i have respect for him, but when he starts posting fake lifts and claims to be natural, he loses credibility

  • hmm I don't know. I would have to see him at an official meet to believe thee numbers. I don't see how he can look so effortless in such a deep squat with so much weight. he is not a koklyaev.

  • Powerliftingwatch gives the raw world record for the squat in the 220lb weight class (no knee wraps, no drug test) as this 730lb squat by Jesse Kellum: /watch?v=J_wIOrkndyE

We'll need to write to Powerliftingwatch and Mr. Kellum to inform them that the record has been broken by 20-something Mr. Castleberry so they can update their record books.

  • This is real. I've trained at LA Vista and I've seen Brad burry over 650 LBS for reps these are NOT fake plates...be serious people, it's a damn gym who drags in fake plates to a gym? The guy is a freak of nature.

  • How can he not have a million injuries he deff. Will very soon

  • @jilabi2010 bumper plates

  • @eyesack9 And bumper plates arent real weights? Even if they were bumper plates the total weight would still be 765. Now take your head out of your ass.

  • HOLY CRAP HE WENT FCUKIN LOWWWW!

  • IF THOSE WERE REAL. HE WOULD OF COMPETED IN POWERLIFTING BY NOW AND WOULD BE DECENTLY FAMOUS IN THE BODYBUILDING/POWERLIFTING COMMUNITY.

  • Those are 8 45lb plates per side. That's a 765 squat, though he did have assistance from his spotters, at least a litte. That was a damn good deep squat.

For the naysayers, the bar shows the proof. Bars don't bounce like that when you rack them with 405 lbs. I know I rack 405 on the squat. Watch at the end of the video, that bar is bouncing when he racks it. This was an honest lift.

  • When you came back up it looked almost effortless. So it makes me wonder whether its real or not. Also, did you film this with a potato?

  • bumper plates
