  • I love watching you!

    I just want to say that I see way more similarities between Africans and African Americans besides our skin and hair. I see our rhythm, our preferences, our facial and physical features, our strength, our voices, even the way we tend to say English words.

    Also, every A.A. I know and I feel a *STRONG* pull to Africa. Such a deep connection that I don't understand why Africans don't see or feel it. A lot of us love Africa so much. It's hard to see Africans not recognize it.

  • The reason you don't see many African-Americans going to africa is primarily because of the perception of Africa, so i agree 100%. But another reason you mainly see white people visiting Africa is because... THEY HAVE THE MONEY TO TRAVEL. Black people in America go on vacation and stay home or visit somewhere they can drive to. Those who DO visit Africa, usually have to save for quite some time to go. Hopefully I will be able to visit one day. BTW I am Black living in America...

  • Listen chérie, you can call me what you want, even zimbabwean if it floats your boat lol

  • African=Slave

    American=Slave Master

    African=Neters/Gods

    American=Devils

    African=Victims

    American=Perpetrators

    How Can you Be Both?

  • I see it, but the problem is, for every one like you, there are 10 unlike you; & not only do those 10 out number you, each 1 of them out shout, out complain each 1 of you by double. Thus, totally drowning you out that about Africa. I'm yet to meet a Caucasian in America, who's not going googoo & gaga over the parts of Europe his ancestors came from. But Black Americans, educated or not, with their simple minded, whitish-wanna-be selves, generalizing, are the opposite when it comes to Africa.

  • its never the media's fault. its our fault for not educating each other.

  • She does not deny her brothers and sisters. Where do you hear this? She is saying things are differant. This is true, I was in Lagos Nigeria in two months ago.

  • Agreed!!!

  • Yep...

  • ARE U FOR REAL!!!!

    lmao...

    what do u feel about Afro-Latinos that have no recognizable physical qualities of Africans but claim descendency from African slaves?

  • My ancestors were stolen from Africa, and because I have been misplaced in America does not make my AFRICAN BLOOD LESS. I LOVE AFRICA! My husband is from west Africa. I think it is very sad that you deny your brothers and sisters. Some of our customs and traditions may be different but we are one people! Afro-Cubano, Afro-Brazilian, Afro-American!!!!
