Portal - Advanced Chamber 16 - 39.55 Seconds

A video of yours truly completing Portal's Advanced Chamber 16 in 39.55 seconds (measured from door open to door close).

It took me well over an hour to complete this level the first time around; I had started out by trying the box shielding technique that I've seen in so many of the other videos but soon decided that a slightly more head on approach would serve me better.

Proud of my (at the time) one day's worth of portal training I booted up Fraps and plastered up a video of my best run right here on youtube.

Strangely enough this tactic doesn't work on the time trial version of chamber 16 as the turrets are too quick to respond without the cages to limit their view.

Let me know if you have any suggestions for ways to shave any more time off this level, and thanks for watching.
