I was out riding with this guy as well and he was an absolute pain in the neck, infact the whole weekend was rough riding because of idiots who don't know how to follow a line. Absolute Cycle were next to useless and the coaches weren't doing a thing about morons on ZX-10R's that were trying to go fast way beyond their skill level, hopefully the subsequent crash might slow him down and teach him some respect for the track because he sure as hell did not have respect for the rest of us with him.

Yep, no ones perfect, thats why we are out there, to get better. Awesome video resolution by the way. Hey any crash you walk away from is a good, one. Ride safe.

Not that I am a very awesome track rider (only have a few track days under my belt) but you need to learn to blip the throttle for your downshifts. The slipper clutch is not to be used as a crutch, its there to save you when you mess up a downshift.

Yeah there is no excuse for that during track time. If it was a race weekend I could have understood. In any case, the lines of the camera bike are horrible though.
-
that was silly. he wasnt following a smooth line.
deff cut u off. that blows.
-
no excuse for that at a track day. Must be TPM.

What ever happened to the 6 foot rule?
Does this guy really think there's a prize and the end if the day!
That guy on the Kawasaki should have his skull crushed.
Love your Suzuki. I just bought an 09 750.

Man I have to agree with 21stOPFOR. These are the little things that make the diffrence in riding in any group. Its amplified at faster speeds. But hey sometimes it takes experience to figure these things out.
That being said, he probably should have not tried that pass at that point.

What an ass hat.

for group one and two, the rider simply was too close. he was within 1-2 feet when he attempted to pass on the left. I believe the rule is typically six feet. No excuses. The whole thing could have been avoided, if the offending rider was following the rules. I hate idiots like this. ruin it for everyone. Especially the guy who has to pay, for someone elses mistake.

Was out here with team pro motion in May. We had some incidents with people just going WAY TOO FAST for their skill level. Couple of people even went to the hospital. Seemed like after every session they would call us all in and have to have "the Talk"! It finally settled down and we enjoyed the rest of our day.
I do love this track though! A lot of fun to
ride!

I met this guy as well, i wasn't riding in this group with him, but damn I'm sorry to see that he was quite a bit further ahead than he really was... thats just wrong! If he had of clipped me like that, that would have been my entire day...hopefully some of the new rules A.C.E. is implementing will steer off these types of riders.. totally unnecessary! Anyone headed out on 10/5 with A.C.E.?
Looks like you pulled the front brake lever in rather hard. If you kept you line you might have made it out safe. Although that was a rather close pass for a track day. And to a 1 or 2 group rider it might be unsafe. I was there in 4 and we had to go out on the oil from all the other groups. Rough day and blame the heat 100+

I was riding in 2--rules were you had to be clear on the pass before the turn in point. I was a little wide on T5 which took me off the outside on the exit which is where I adjusted left. B/c/o wide angle, camera doesn't give a great perspective on the traffic ahead--couldn't give it full to the turn in point on T6 b/c/o. 71, on the outside pass, cut back right before being clear and clipped my front tire. The slight tip left was to counter into T6. Tx for cmments--out there to get better.

Don't like to see anyone go down, but I think you set your self up for this. At 00:16 you chop the throttle in a straight away then at 00:18 and 00:20 you change your line rather abruptly more left. I think he was already commited for an outside pass. Looks like you should have been in a slower class. Watch the pass at 03:08,, good way to get rear ended by a rider.

Line was off at 00:18--orig. going to try and make pass to left on slower traffic but couldn't hit clean before turn-in point. Should have taken T5 with wider arc then to full outside causing the adjustment to set for T6. Pass on 3:08 was liter bike cooking past on long straight. Good, clean pass, though.
