Recently, some members of the Phoenix Wright Musical Project got together for a trip to Colorado hosted by ff3girl and family. TriforceBun, ff3girl, Pleading Eyes, Phantom Otaku, Shinkinrui, Shawni ... with so many of us together, how could we resist making some recordings of our favorite songs? :D

Thus, "The Colorado Sessions" were born. TriforceBun, the writer and composer for many of the most memorable songs from the musical, even provided live piano accompaniment for a lot of the recordings.

The awesome poster used as the intro in all of these videos was made by one of our wonderfully talented artists, Umiyuri Papaeyra.

@shinkinrui It'd be tough to do the whole thing live. After all, you're basically adapting four cases, and expanding them a bit. Individual scenes are one thing, but the whole thing live in one night would be several hours. I mean, you give almost every character at least one song, and have just about all the really dramatic moments musicalized. It's more like a musical mini-series than something that could be performed onstage in its entirety in one night.

Ah, the Samurai Always Wins. Definately an impressive number , and one of the most complex songs in the musical. Pleading Eyes does a great job here with it. All in all, I'm very impressed with this musical project.

@SmashGenesis Pleading Eyes doesn't normally play the part of Cody. Normally she's Maya. She just so happened to be substituting for whoever would do Cody live for this run-through. So they'd get someone else for a live performance.
