part 1- sock on a loom

first video of 3 on how to loom knit a sock on a 24 peg circular loom. Any circular loom can be used. Just remember to work the heel with half the pegs.

I always get lost too, so I put a marker on each peg that is a purl stitch and a double stitch marker on the 1and 12 peg.. Makes it a lot easier if you have to set down your loom.

I have never seen it done this way with the knit and purl. I found a pattern (I'm not good reading patterns) where it said to e wrap in one direction then to reverse the e wrap, then pull the bottom loop over the top loop, and do the e wrap in whichever direction you were supposed to go. So this is very confusing to me. I make hats on loom by e wrapping 2 strands of yarn completely around, pull bottom loop over top and wrap again, continue till you get it the length you want, bind off and knot.

so you can do this in knit and purl for the sock thats all??? purl is you put the string on the bottom? and knit you put it on the top? ight or wrong cause i am so confused???
