WOW, This is exactly what this message is talking about... I've learned that you can never do enough to satisfy everyone... "What about loving Jesus"..."What about speaking in tongues"..."What about preaching from the book of Revelation"... I'm so very sad... I knew someone would say that this message was not enough...AMAZING!!! But, that's the nature of Christianity I guess??? Enough is never Enough???

Enough is never enough because you can never have "enough" of God. You can't quench the need of God in your life. We love Jesus because He has loved us first. We love others because Jesus loves them. We live as Christians to glorify God, not just to get along with our neighbors and live a prosperous life. Joel preaches about living prosperous to give hope to the depressed and poor, yet he should be preaching about the treasures in heaven and the means of acquiring them.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is NOT a LOVE ONLY GOSPEL... that is the new age gospel where love only is preached. When Osteen states Gods love is not exclusive, he lies the biggest lie satan ever lied to sinners.

lol. You can't over analyze every sermon. I don't like Joel Osteen...not even a little. (i don't hate him though...but its as close to hate as you can be without hating) But he was Biblical in this snippet. He probably wasn't Biblical in the rest of the sermon...but in that snippet he was...This should not be over analyzed. When you try to critique everything, you end up not learning anything.

I think before you get on You Tube trying to blast someone you should read your word. Let start in 1 Corinthians 13 then we will move to James 2. If you look who Jesus ministered to it was prostitutes, tax collector's, and murders. Try reading Romans 5 then Romans 12 I love you and so does God.

I am a fan of Joel Olsteen. While others in mininsty condemn his message, his message is the quintessential message of Jesus.The word 'sin' means to miss the mark. God's Word states that if you love me you would keep my commandments. In being like Christ, made in His image, We try to live without sin. Joel ministers the essence of God word packaged well. Corinthians 13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Which means the greatest is love

His words should preach against sin like Jesus did, he preached love but also significantly pressed for people to accept Jesus as the only and to expel false gratification, idols and doctrines. Read 1 Corinthians 5 verse 13 = 1 "What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked man from among you."

I'm looking at him in general, he calls himself a Christian, a preacher out to save souls - why is he so candy like. Love is the greatest commandment.
