  • reading should not be taught in public schools. how hard is it to go home and read a book instead of getting on the internet?

stop relying on the government if your going to bitch about them having to much control over us. you can't have them take care of everyone and be as "free" as you want.

  • He is such a fool!

  • no child left behind, another big joke.

  • We need to leave some children behind. 40% drop out anyway and in the elementary school we slow everything down to cater to those 40%. By leaving "no child behind" we leave all children behind.

  • He should be on the ticket.

  • Fatso forgot reading. The simple truth is that no amount of money will be enough because they will want more and more. They just don't want to do what is right. Teach the 3Rs and stop the social programing. Not one of these slobs on is qualified in being president.

  • What are your facts for this inefficiency and corruption?

    Have you any children yourself?

When was the last time you volunteered at your local public school to lend a hand?

  • Richardson is a socialist. Anyone that is not eliminating the Department of Education will not reform. The Department of Education is corrupt and inefficient. Leave it to the states. Ron Paul will eliminate it. Vote for Ron Paul.

  • I am a teacher!! I agree with him! 100% right!

  • How about an incentive program instead of penalizing districts and raising the minimum requirements on special education unilaterally so that state have a higher bar to reach. This includes sending the money to the states that were promised long before the present administration. I think blue states are being punished for being just that and it stinks.
