http://2dphotography.ca/blog - This is a short test of the ISO noise on the D7000. There is also a long version that will be posted soon. This test goes from ISO 100 up 1 stop up until the camera maxes out at H2.0. You will notice some dead pixels as the ISO goes up. These pixels are not apparent in photographs however are a major problem for the video mode. From what I understand, many D7000 owners so far have reported this as an issue.

  • Wow, that's crazy! From the days with my D100 and 200, it's hard to think going much past 800

  • I saw 4 hot pixels begaining with iso 6400.

    Nice video.

  • Hello, I Just wanted you to know about the 180 degree shutter rule, basically, never, ever choose a shutter speed lower than that of twice your frame rate 24 fps needs to have a 1/50th or higher shutter speed, I see you where at 1/30th and 1/40th a lot, never do that. It can cause some real problems.

  • Thank you for that! Looks like if you play with the settings you can fix the jitter in 1080 mode. Very cool!
