  • I love Brian, but he's not fooling me with that bass.

  • Brian looks like he is enjoying himself. I'm so happy to see him in this new phase of his life. I saw him perform live in Tokyo during the SMiLE tour. God bless him! Way to go Brian!

  • @Inacatsuit I suppose he just needed something to fiddle with rather than just stand there and sing.

There is another bass player over to his left.

  • Sehe ich da Brian Wilson?

    Sensation.

Eleanor Rigby, This Bird has Flown, Happiness is a warm Gun, Back in the USSR, Julia, The End, All you need is Love (that one should be like that, it was the first ever worldwide broadcast, it should be understandable to everybody around the globe), Hey Jude, Across the Universe (my favorite for lyrical poetry) and many more.

  • @OropherThranduil The Beatles were great, but the lyrics were weak.

Just my opnion. They, (Beatles) Had great songs, but the lyrics were weak.

  • I love this guy.

I mean today onstage he srely can't do what paul mccartney can do onstage (playing bass all the time, playing 4 other instruments) sing all his old songs in the same key (even helter skelter), but then again he never had the breakdowns and psychological problems brian had.

But Paul really still is what he always was.

While Brian just some years ago started to finally be himself again, especially after smile was finished and that was from hsi mind after 40 years.

  • @BritishArrow

Actually he played bass from 61 to 64, his touring years, than he wrote down the notes for the studio bassists to play them.

  • @nken411

They never stole anything from him.

pet sounds came after revolver, not the other way around, brian was inspired by them.

and then pet sounds inspired sgt pepper, which in turn was a part of the decosntruction of brians smile project.

  • @tamerabi2007

he played bass from 61 to 64, and yeah, back then he was good livre and in the studio, but from 64 on, after he left touring, he got session bass players, california girls being the first i think he did with carol kaye, in 64 he used another one from the wrecking crew whose name i forgot.

  • @B52sguy

I put him one step down from Lennon/McCartney, the greatest of the last century.

  • @ddr122

sorry to say, but everybody knows he has lost his heavenly falsetto during his alcoholism in the 70s.
