I beg to differ.
If Hasek had never had to carry Buffalo like he did, or to put it more specifically, if he had spent his career in Detroit from beginning to end, Roy would be an afterthought.
I WILL however say this. As a goalie myself, I've seen a lot of others, and there is no doubt in my mind that there is something in the water in Quebec...Brodeur, Roy, Etc that come from the French portion of Canada...that makes them (Quebecois) the world standard in goaltending.
