TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS, and ten minutes contemplating an ipod....just for my ZONE TO NOT WORK.

Actually, strangely enough, some customers reported their Zune 80's failing.

None of the 80s or 120s failed, it was just the 30s. It had something to do with the internal clock and it being a leap year.

Don't bash Apple because Microsoft programmers still think the world is flat. It you want to do something positive, instead of being a negative critic, donate some money to Microsoft so they can fix the problem.

I think the newerzunes are safe (not sure though). All I know is that the Zune 30GB ones got hit with the "plague" -_-

not every one of them. My brother's didn't break, and neither did most of the 80s, 120s, and flash zunes.
