Trinity Rises (Project Direct)

Trinity Rises is the story of a young woman named Trinity who is dealing with the destruction of her community and loved ones as a result of Uranium Mining in her community. This is our Project Direct entry. The props included are a red phone, video cassettes and thick-rimmed glasses (we even have pie in there for a bonus prop).

Your film was one of the better "earlier" entries that made me go "shoot, this is defintly compitition" lol and having seen countless more newer films since, i have to say, this film is still competitive for a top 10 position. MY ONLY GRIPE with this film is the fact that your extended cut is better then this cut. but at 4 minutes u easily had an extra minute to atleast add in the protest scene right? Anyways i would appreciate your feedback on my film. Best of luck to the both of us :P.

Thanks for the wonderful feedback. Where were you when I was editing! LOL I tried doing some different cuts and this seemed to be the only way to get it to work under 5 minutes. The pacing was really bad if I tried to include everything. It felt too rushed. This shorter version seemed to get the best reaction from people I showed it to.

@melianish I like this version better too. I wish the script had been a little better. Drama is always a challenge to write but I think I'm getting better.
