New Drugs and Jan Akkerman

I heard after recording this that my friend Rich's dad passed this weekend.My thoughts are wth him.
My good old friend Peter organised ages ago our evening out last night and a grand evening it was.Bush Hall is a completely charming venue and Jan Akkerman and his band were absolutely terrific.There are videos on youtube of his new band and if you search Hocus Pocus for example you can easily find a Dutch club performance from last year with the same band playing.
My health is on the annoyingly shakey side at the moment but a pleasant evening in marvellous company at a delightful venue with a brilliant band never hurts.

I know what you mean, one of the people who DEFINITELY KNOWS where he's going is Stephen Stills when he's ripping a solo, mesmerising!!! My personal fave, he plays an original '57 most days now. Looks just like yours! Thanks again

i remember as a kid in school the following day after focus had done the whistle test..those two singles and debut album being hugged under the arm of so many dufflecoats on the way to and from.

Thats a 70's LP Personal - It was heavily modified by Paul Hamer in 1970's - New maple top and paint job - wiring changes and humbuckers added. It got damaged and Jan didnt use it for 20 years. Since restored again and is in 50/50 serveice with the well known 72 Black LP custom
