Messianic prophesies Jesus didn't fulfill:

A. Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28)
B. Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6)
C. Usher in an era of world peace (Isaiah 2:4)
D. Spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel, which will unite humanity as one. (Zechariah 14:9)
E. He must be descended on his father's side from King David (see Genesis 49:10 and Isaiah 11:1) but he had no father because of the virgin birth
F. will lead to full Torah observance (Deut. 13:1-4)

Does this mean you can't be a christian and a Christ Follower or are they the same thing?

1) No evidence to support that. Where does it say what Jesus wore, other than during the time of his crucifixion.
2) He would not dress down at the temple. It would be considered an utter disgrace to do so.
3) Once again no evidence that Jesus wore his hair long. The Bible does not talk about the length of his hair.
4) Do not commit to what scripture or history does not comment on. Especially if you are going to teach on it.

lol, wow. Six months old, my comment, and you feel it worth replying to. You must really be desperate for someone to pick on today, bub.

1) Actually, there's no 'evidence' to support ANYTHING about the Bible, so why split hairs when it comes to Jesus' clothing?
2) Again, the whole concept of shame. I've already touched upon this, do try to keep up.
3) People of the Nazareth culture are historically shown as having long hair.
4) I'm not 'teaching', I'm commenting. Idiot.

Sorry, I actually wasn't paying attention to when it was posted. It was rather late, and I now remember that I skimmed past a lot of people to find some comments from sensible and civil people. I made the mistake of thinking that you were one of them.

1) Yes there is plenty of evidence to support the Bible.
2) He would not have been called a rabbi had he had long hair. Jesus respected Jewish customs.
3) During his ministry he lived in capernum.
4) Mistaken you for a Christian.

Why should I act civil with someone who dictates to people?

1) No there isn't (See? We can do this all day!)
2) So in bible times, the only people with long hair were Rabbi? Plenty of bible scholars contradict that.
3) I don't give a fuck where he was during his ministry. He came out of Nazareth, and those folks had long hair. You don't change into baggy clothes when you pass through harlem, do you? It IS in fact possible to bring your culture with you when you travel.
4) I'm an Agnostic.

Yet, in the early church they worshiped on Sunday. This is verified by Justin Martyr and the Didache.

There is no evidence for Jesus having risen on Saturday night. And the case for it is incredibly weak. They found the empty tomb early in the morning on Sunday, likely 6 AM, that leaves six hours for him to have risen that morning. Not to mention he was to have risen on the third day. Jesus died on Friday. Sunday would be the third day.

That's the problem; they want all theistic sentiment to be stifled so that they can brainwash everyone with their secular humanistic garbage.

So, asking you to stop bombarding me with your theistic sentiments is stifling you?

I don't care what Christians do at home or at church, or what stupid bumper stickers they want on their cars, but that's not enough for them. They want to force everyone to join them at school and in the town square.
