We have never been very good surfers. Surfing has always been fun though, especially when you are getting bashed about. We went to University in Galway and once when the weather was warm we cruised down the river on our surf boards, but never when it was in spate. The principles are the same, only you have to think a little faster and work a little harder. Anyone who is considering trying this need to consider safety first and not take risks that are outside of their comfort zone or skill set.
