Even though Robin keeps trying to tell her that her relationship with Guy is unhealthy, she stays with Guy to protect her father. Robin keeps trying to tell Guy to get lost, but Guy refuses, saying he really does care about Marian. It seems that the wedding will take place, but after taking his abuse for too long, she runs off with the man who really has her heart, Robin.

I love this song and I absolutely adore Robin Hood. The song actually works real well because Marian does get pretty stuborn saying that she can handle Gisborne just so it doesn't really cause a fuss. God I hope he dies. There are so many times I wish she would have walked out on him for good and left him with no shred of hope. Thank god there's Robin, and more to the point Robin AND Marian; they are absolutely perfect together!
