@CodyCollinsSkater1 "LOOKS" better.

Looks like you need a scope with more eye relief. Bipods or sandbags for support would work well also.

@hunter4life9363 Get a bigger scope for that thing. I have a hand built 7 mag with a free-floating barrel. I have a huge variable zoom scope on mine and it unleashes a whole new beast. First kill with it was at 320 yards.

The rifle come back like that because of the poor stance (you were balanced neutral) and your support (the chair) was poor in fact nonexistent. With a forward stance and a stable support platform you will do much better.

@edoardogm7 yeah i had it set wrong on my shoulder and i shot at an oppossum and hit it but my scope hit my forehead and it hurt i was shooting a 20 ga.

@MrTyler8877 Well, I think you're right. It would be a very strong blow.

@edoardogm7 no it didnt trust me the scope of my shotgun hit me in the face and left a knot

my savage arms 7mm looks so much better than this thing!
I'm gonna shoot this rifle this Saturday for my 12th birthday. Any advice on how to to have the scope wreck my eye? I can stand the recoil but the scope hittin my eye. Thats what im concerned about. Should I work on my syance? I'll be shooting sittin in a chair with the gun rested on a sandbag. It should be amazingly fun to shoot, but im just looking for advice

@dzgeneration dont put the scope right at your eye because the first time i shot it i did and it hurt but keep at least 2 inches away from it and you will be fine. since it does kick alittle keep the rifle firm right on your pit and just relax. i buy watermellons and put them out at different distances and shoot them and its really exciting when you shoot it because they explode and its pretty awesome. It is a great rifle and you will have fun shooting it good luck and happy birthday!!!!!!!!!
