@maidenmadness1 I listened to jeff loomis he's very good.. but i think yngwie malmstien is better.. i yoused to listen to shred, and play it..ive been playing for 29 years ,I can shred awesome.. but I got bored with it..Im glad there is still some shedders out there.. long live Metal!!!

@ronpoolman1 Yes i agree, rock was rooted from blues, but shred was most often metal in a neo-classical form, so its unfair to compare. Shred will never be very popular because people feel like they suck after listening to it.

@ronpoolman1 Lol, are you fucking serious?
Shredders still populate the earth and shred is still popular. Ever heard of Jeff Loomis??
-
@Spectra1Beats I'm guessing he understands tone just fine.

so since this video was recorded on july 1987 , and considering that jason was born on july 1969 .. that means that he played it when he was 18 ?!!
Fuck .. That's way too impressive !

This guy is amazing, but the shred wars went out with the 80s.. Page and Hendrix are still the best rock guitarist ever.Jason Becker was a classical shredder, one of the best, but let's face it, shred is dead..the blues rock style is what true rock came from and it still stands the test of time...

God bless Jason and all that went through, well, JFK! God speed.

"sloppy"? HAHA! I mock you all, you no-good judges of what you will never have even the slightest hope of achieving!
