  • I took my 2 sons to Brooklands last weekend and when we got there I could hear this noise. I dragged them towards it and it was just this silver car sat ticking over. But what an incredible sound. And the 5 year old thought the same. After turning it over and giving a couple of blips of throttle when it was turned off there was a spontaneous round of applause from the crowd. hat was the best engine sound I ever heard (including any F1 car and I've heard them all for the last 10 years)

  • I know this car sounds incredable. I'm one of the volunteers at Brooklands and i have to say this is one of my favourite cars

  • Beautiful.

  • I love how cars dance forwards and back in digital video. They couldn't do that in the old days. It's one great looker, I have to say. How'd it stack up against Bugattis?

  • That sound is cruel awesome ! This is not a car, this is a Jet plane ! Over 500 hp-s of brutal power !

  • Ive Been lucky enough to work on the Napier Railton at a well known essex Rolls Royce garage and I have to say it was the highlight of my career, the engineering on the car is just lovely every tiny detail is superb. The first time I pushed started it into life it scared the hell out of me!!! it was alomost as if there was an earthquake! A completely amazing car that makes me proud to be british. I just wish it still had its original large wheels.

  • looks like a jay leno tank car

  • Groundhog Day!

  • The Napier-Railton came to Pebble Beach this year. Matt is right. The sound is amazing. They fired it up on the lawn and you couldn't hear anything else! I've posted a video of the car at Pebble Beach.
