I was walking down sixth street I believe In december and noticed this house with huge I-Beams underneath it. I had no idea what it was for. I even took a picture because I thought it was neat. I a from Indiana and make the trip to Springfield about twice a year to visit the Lincoln Sites... I love it there... this will be added as another stop on my route for the next time I go there I will have to see it completely done.

There was no interest in the vacant building until the hospital bought the property to demolish it.

at 4:22 it looks like they had to cut a tree just to get it down the road. There is a large truck with no leaves or branches kind of leaning into the street

The week before the move the city tree crews trimmed back several trees in the 5 block long path. Unfortunately on the day of the move, that tree had to be cut down completely to the ground, and several others needed additional trimming. I didn't take pictures of the tree crew working. .. sorry.
