  • @mogemoets - not Triptique, Dyptique ;-)

  • @Sk8rboy9782 - can't you identify Messiaen when you hear it? I'm pretty sure this is the "Dyptique", a fairly early work which you can find as the opener on a CD also containing the first half of the titanic "Livre du Saint-Sacrement". It's just unfortunate that this is a small clip of somewhere in the middle, with poor quality sound.

  • r u sure he isnt just pounding on the manuals?

  • He was great, but J.S. Bach is the greatest

  • Beautiful! I hope to see St. Paul's Cathedral someday.

  • This is the Triptique...written for Dukas and Durufle, right?

    I LOVE Messiaen!

he WAS the greatest composer who ever lived!

  • was this video taken during a performance, or a practice?

    from

    Del.

  • I heard this organ in person about 20 years ago. I think the last note I heard played is just now finishing... INCREDIBLE ACOUSTICS!! : >)

  • Oooo Messiaen!
