  • @bigsleep32 Last I checked, he doesn't support overthrowing regimes that aren't communist, either. Why do you make things up?

  • awesome guy. great music, who composed it?

  • @bigsleep32 -- Wow thats deep. What an insightful comment. I'll bet it took an asshole like you a long time to develop such a sophisticated analysis.

  • I've read much of what this man has written, never have I read anything which would suggest he's an apologist for the Khmer Rouge. On the contrary, he's argued that the heavy US bombing in the early 70's destablised the nation which allowed that horrible regime to take hold there. The problem in the US is that some people's shallow analyses of events are usually limited to 10 sec. sound bites and 30 sec. reports. The education system sees that this happens to create obedience and acquiescence

  • Yes, I've met Edward Herman. Soft-spoken man, hard-hitting message.

  • Interesting dude. Nice to see and hear him. I once read a book of him (with Chomsky : The Washington Connection, which I can advise to everyone).

    Fine contribution. Thanks Mr1001nights.

  • Herman only favors a country's right to self rule if the would be rulers are radical communists.

  • I suppose you're not familiar the idea that you can support a country's right to self-determination, which is protect by International Law, but not necessarily their policies. This seems to confuse the Mises, right-wing libertarian types...
