Truly, high praise for Blue Bunting for what this filly has accomplished in 2011. If you had told me at the start of the season that Blue Bunting would win the 1000 Guineas, Irish Oaks, and Yorkshire Oaks, I'm not sure I would've bought it. I'd say if you would've asked the boys in blue at the end of last season, or the beginning of this season before she got injured. They would've been trying to convince you that it would be White Moonstone that had the best chance of winning these same races.

A much more competitive race than in the 2000 Guineas the previous day. I was quite happy when Frankie Dettori rode the winning horse and I bet he did a flying dismount as he did on Delegator on Wednesday 11th May in the Duke Of York Stakes at York Racecourse.
