Using the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope, astronomers have found the first clear evidence of high altitude haze or clouds in the atmosphere of an extrasolar planet. This discovery reveals a deeper understanding of the class of giant planets that astronomers call 'hot Jupiters'

  • Hot Jupiter? Implying that our Jupiter is not. Our Jupiter is hot too...he's just shy and has difficulty approaching the other planets for a date. He lacks confidence.

  • nostromo38 is a good friend. Hot Jupiter needs a woman. I have a cousin with a great personality who just got out of a frigid relationship. Let's set them up at Starbuck's and see what happens.

  • "Hot Jupiters" were the first planets discovered outside our solar system. Because they are the easiest to detect due to their mass and proximity to their stars. Read more on extrasolar planets before making coments.
