Just a fabulous song. Or rather, a poem.

WINTER

Rising fog on the white meadows,
like a cypress in the cemeteries,
a bell tower that looks like not real
marks the boundary between earth and sky.
But you who are going away,
but you, do stay,
you'll see, the snow will leave tomorrow,
the past joys will flourish again
by the warm wind of another summer.
Also the light looks likely to die,
in the uncertain shadow of one becoming,
where also the dawn becomes evening
and the faces are like wax skulls.
But you who are going away,
but you, do stay,
also the snow will die tomorrow,
love will pass by us again,
on the whitetorn's season.
The tired earth under the snow
sleeps the silence of one oppressive sleep,
winter picks up its toil of thousand centuries,
from an ancient down.
But you who stay,
why do you remain?
Another winter will come back tomorrow,
other snow will fall to console the fields,
other snow will fall on the cemeteries.
