I'm in my early 20s and I have become interested in this era of music, Its a lot better than the shit being released today.
-
Ramones and the Dead Boys. Damn, what I wouldn't give to see that.
-
crazy 70s douchbag disco isnt real bands and it certainly isnt rock
-
this is a really cool docufilm 1st time i ever heard steve talk about himself and punk philosophy i still love the band but i bet he would kick his own ass if he met himself they are still doing the same thing for 15 years too, still very cool to see more '70s punk on youtube
they talk about all the companies and the 600$ designer shirts with tears its exactly whats happening to punk now commercialism capitalizing on the youth, with how the economy is going hopefully some good music will emerge
-
why is doa the only candaian punk band people ever know?

@kurskss yes..it was closer towards Bloor..
Some of the last shots are looking south on Yonge st. from the New Yorker, with the old firehall/ St. Charles tavern (a notorious gay bar) on the west side of the street, with the clock tower.

@kurskss Actually shot further south than New Yorker -- just south of Wellesley and Yonge
