Domestic Dialogue, composed and performed on santur (Persian hammered dulcimer) by Pejman Azarmina in 2008.
There are two motifs in this piece, motif 1 is an ascending theme, modern and progressive; motif 2 is a descending theme, more conventional and familiar to ears. The themes are developed twice, before merging together and creating a conclusive epilogue.
I first came across this instrument in Poland, about a month ago and I was fascinated by it's mysterious sound, beautiful!
You should be very proud of yourself for the above performance, perfect. Keep it up.
