Unscripted: Stephen J. Cannell

Emmy Award winner Stephen J. Cannell is one of Hollywood's most prolific writer-producers. He got his start in show business writing for shows like Ironside and Columbo, and went on to create such highly-rated action dramas as The Rockford Files, The A-Team and 21 Jump Street (where he helped to launch the career of a young actor named Johnny Depp). He's also turned out more than a dozen best-selling crime novels. Not bad for a guy who's struggled with dyslexia his whole life. In this episode, Cannell shares the real-life drama of a career spent in Hollywood's trenches.
