  • Too old ?every one gets old If they live long enough.By the way the clutch is slipping again at just under 17000 miles.

  • @MrPhilipgriffin maybe you are to old for driving

  • DMF's are unreliable under spirited driving, generally they're meant for comfort and smoothness but put under the pressure of performance driving one of the number of pieces in it will fail. Al tho the piece it's self may not be so expensive, the labor is.

  • I have a 2.2 Jaguar diesel estate.The clutch failed at 12000 miles

    then again at 14000 miles. The garage says it may be wear and tear.

    for a car to go through two clutches in 14000 miles there must be a real problem with the dual mass flywheel

    I have been driving since I was 18 am now 75 this is the first time I have felt like

    giving up.
