I love the sound of this piano - treble and bass! I recently acquired a 7' 8" Knabe of uncertain provance. The serial number suggests 1860 but all observers claim it must be early 1900. Do you have any other pictures and do you have the serial number and what was involved in the restoration?

The restoration was done by a guy in Star, NC. I think his name is Mark Crowder, but I'm not sure... it's been a long time ago. I'm not sure on the details of the restoration, but I recall the piano looked really rough when I first looked at it. There was no top for it. The serial # was insider the fron panel where the action pulls out, but I don't know the exact # since I have sold the piano. I looked it up online and determined the manufacture date to be early 1890's.
