Here is my first compose session again. Now with better video and sound quality.
I'm using Traktor Scratch, Ecler HAK360, KaossPad II, PDX3000, Korg MIDI-Keyboard and Akai MPD16 in this video. The Beat is created with Ableton Live.
Hope you enjoy...

  • HEEEEY DUDEEE! HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! do you play ableton and traktor separately and you make a beat or song in each one and both of them sound at the sime time? or how does it work; please answer me dude :(

  • @eduardoRYT the beat is completely made in ableton live. the synth is from traktor scratch and played with my pdx3000 with a korg midi keyboard.

  • can we do this with a vestax QFO le set up with any usb keybord as axiome25 or any akai mpk? please i need more information about how to set a turntable with a keyboard to do this small compose...i just love this small compose

  • @nebuchanetsar you can't do this with a qfo. you need a turntable with midi input like a pdx3000 or controller one. so you can connect your keyboard direct to the turntable.

  • Sorry man, I would like to have some infos about your set-up. Please correct me if I'm wrong: the controller (placed in front of your turntables) is connected to ableton live; you can control the sound on the left turntable by connecting it to traktor, but at the same time you play notes with the midi keyboard because this is connected to the turntable's midi input. Is it right?

Thanks and big props: your music is cool!

  • your right. I control ableton with the controller in the front. the turntable controls traktor scratch via timecode. the keyboard is connected with the turntable. the keyboard only controls the pitch of the platter. I loaded a song into traktor with one tone. when I press the keys on the keyboard the speed of the platter changes.

  • hello could you tell me how to connect the Vestax PDX 3000 with a midi keyboard?

I tried but does not meet the pdx keyboard notes

  • I think you need to see a doctor, because you seem very ill.

  • LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT

  • I love your work, keep n mixin

  • This is so sick!

  • thanks man u great... cheers

  • Nice!!!

  • GREAT WORK!!

  • Very Kool. 5/5

  • wow !!

  • Nice work man. Can the pdx 3000 control midi enable programs like ableton live? Or it can only control the soft synth from a programme thru the midi keyboard?

  • the keyboard is connected with the turntable via midi. I play a tone in traktor scratch via timecode vinyl. when I press a button on the keyboard the turntable changes the speed. the beat is made with ableton. so traktor and ableton are not synced.

  • so do you have traktor synced with ableton then? i dont get how your still making the keyboard sounds in traktor, unless there cue points? cheers
