  • If it is "Indian Raga with Jazz",so called Fusion, then it is total CONFUSION...!

Play like this...."Jhala Piano"... Best of luck....

  • beautiful composition,well-built!

  • ok babe.

  • I think the problem with using the piano for Indian Classical/ Fusion music is that there is always a very slight mismatch of notes... this is because more often than not, the piano would have a slightly stretched equal temperament tuning where as indian classical scales are in "Perfect 5th" tuning..

As "cool" as it might sound, Indian classical music on piano never really works... I guess the best way to go about it is jazz scales/ progressions on the piano fused with a classical instrument..

  • I hear music!

Who talks about not hearing jazz?

Jazz means soup, sauce. It is clear that the music is a mix of Indian and a harmonic approach of Indian Raaga, which is a Western approach of Indian music, thus a mix thus to be called jazz...but is it important? The guys gave us some music, who is interested in its name? A rose is a rose is a rose, also if its name was different...

  • Raga Hansadhwani played very nicely and all the musicians are having a very good skill in their respective area. But truly there is no Jazz Structucture in this composition

  • this is so awesome! i would like to learn to play ragas on a piano or clavichord and record it! thanks for the idea.

  • this is not jazz. the scale is not sure match to jazz feel

  • i don't hear any jazz

  • cha gain hain, bohot ala

like the devotional sufi qwallis, this is not entertainment, it is metaphysical and lifts the spirit to higer plane
