Robin is banned from Michael's OR

At GH, Robin doses off in the waiting area. Patrick comes up to her, and she says she was just resting her eyes. They start to spar when Patrick suggests she go home. Robin agrees to go home when Patrick promises to call her back if anything happens in ER and needs her unique person touch, because she is tired and needs a nap. Epiphany informs Patrick that there is a GSW to the head at the Corinthos warehouse. Patrick gets on the call. Robin hears Patrick say "12 year old boy," and she immediately knows its Michael. Robin decides to stay. Later, Jason runs up to Robin and asks about Michael. Robin tells him its head trauma. Robin gets involved with the trauma team and Patrick says she should sit this one out. Robin tells him that its not his call. The ambulence pulls in. Robin tells Carly that the best thing she can do is stay out of the way. Carly grabs Robin and tells her to take care of him. Robin and the trauma team take Michael behind closed doors. Later, Robin is in the prep room with Michael and tells him that she will be there for him and that she will do everything in her power to make sure he comes out of this. Carly enters the room and says she wants to see Michael. Robin leaves her with Michael saying that she'll come back when the OR is ready. Robin then sees Jason in the waiting area and she's there for Jason to lean on. They remember the times when Michael was younger. Jason says it was Robin that made it easy for him. Robin mentions that if she's any kind of mother to her own child., it'll be because of what Michael taught her. Patrick bans Robin from the OR. He pulls rank on her because he claims that she's too close to the situation because she held Michael in her arms as a baby and she's now having a baby of her own. Robin is less than enthused, but because Patrick runs his own OR, there's not much she can do.

Probably one of the few times I actually agree with Patrick. She was like a second mother to Michael when he was a baby, so I can see his point totally. Someone wouldnt be allowed to operate on their own child or a close family member for just the reasons he stated.
