Judy Dyble and The Conspirators talk with Jonathan Taylor of RadioGB.com about the release and making of their new single 'One Sure Thing (2008.) Judy Dyble originally performed the track on the Debut Fairport Convention album. Featuring a telephone interview with Judy and also recordings from the Bedale launch Party / Phoenix FM studio's with The Conspirators. Judy is best known as the original singer for Fairport Convention, but has also fronted Trader Horne and (very briefly) an embryonic King Crimson as well as having an intermittent solo career after making a 2004 comeback, she has risen to commercial prominence in 2009 with the release of the award nominated album Talking with Strangers. Contains rare archive footage of Fairport (1968.)

Thank you for this fascinating upload. :) It's wonderful that Judy is doing so well. She has one of the great 'English' voices in the Barbara Gaskin, Vivienne McAuliffe, Syd Barrett tradition, and has written some excellent songs during her renaissance.
