People put too much faith in Obama and politicians in general. He isn't going to "change" anything, and Washington's going to be the same pile of bulls--- it's been for years.

of course he can't change things by himself. he says that in every speech. the point of "change" is that he is getting people involved and vested in our democracy again. and he tells us that HE WILL NEED OUR HELP to make the changes we seek.

I know you'll vote for tax relief for yourself. You'll never get past the liberal mindset of bite the hand that feeds you. Large corporations employ more people than anything else. I don't like McCain, he's not a true conservative, but your idea that we'll get something for nothing from Obama, like free healthcare, is rediculous. And if you don't like the cost of fuel, then do something about it besides bitch about our president. Fuel is worth whatever the consumer is willing to pay.

I noticed the pin too, guess he changed his mind. The government can and should have obligations such as nice roads and police, but they shouldn't be in every aspect of our lives. For starters, there shouldn't be commities set up to decide how much we make and punish those who make "too much." That my friend IS socialism.
