  • what scale is warren di martini always playing in??? all his solos sound the same.... how can I get that airy bluesy sound... what scale did stay in?

  • Yeah Warre is great at that! He really mixes things up to.. doesn't stick to playing in one scale during a solo very much. I guess I would have to say it's Dorian and Mixolydian that tend to have that vibe you are looking for, but also including the flatted 5th in and spending a lot of time on the pentatonic notes. I hope that makes sense
