If you really listen to the lyrics Chuck is belting out along with a great arrangement and you have a modicum of intelligence you will know this message is as relevant to day as it was then. I just lost someone today and thought of this song, which I had no idea why, have not heard it in at least 10 years it just resonated in my head out of nowhere. Seems unexplainable but good music can be a part of our very complicated though process. No doubt I would not think of some BS shit from Lady GAGA.

@geiadude You have no idea what you're talking about. I was there. Seventeen years old in 71..Three Dog Night was HUGE..they were NOT put together. Saw them in concert in the early seventies and they rocked..saw them here in the Seattle area like 2007..still GREAT. Don't know what you're smoking dude but Three Dog Night was HUGE. They were never fake..incredible vocals..the video tells it all..just listen.

I do like the title 'Easy to be Hard" I myself find it "Easy to be hard" As from the belief of it. Just another lost dream of so long ago in the seventy's.
