Hi All,

As many of you know, I have been married almost 20 years, and sometimes I find myself sharing advice with women who are just getting started on their marital journey. I am a major marriage advocate, and this week I became even more excited about sharing tips to help keeping others married longer as I debated the benefits of marriage with some naysayers. You can find your Mr. Right, and you can have a long, successful marriage if you work at it. More tips to come!

Take Care & God Bless,
Carolyn

  • @ywait0609 Hey, thanks so much! I appreciate that, and you are quite welcome! Happy New Year!

  • the movie phrase would be cool w/ me and mine, but she never remembers the movie. LOL

  • @gunnz021 Maybe show her some of the scenes you are thinking of until you both can laugh about them. My husband referred to the scene from a Friday the 13th movie (Jason Takes Manhattan?) today, the one where the boxer told Jason to take his best shot after punching him till his fists were bloody, and Jason knocked his head off. It rolled into the trash can, and the top slammed shut, which cracked me up. My hubby said he thinks of that sometimes when I am running my mouth too much! :-) LOL!

  • @eformationqueen Thanks, u too!

  • @gunnz021 Hey, that is wonderful to hear! My husband and I laugh so much, and it is a blessing. Today, he was giving me advice, and I had a headache and really didn't feel like hearing it -- in fact, in my mind, I was thinking, "Please shut up." Then, I told him, now I know how you feel -- you must want to tell me to shut up a lot. He rolled his eyes and said, "Multiply that times 1 million!" We started cracking up, and then had a great date. So keep laughter in the act! God Bless!

  • @gunnz021 What???? Men are watching my videos? OMG, I'd better stop talking as if only women are listening then! :-) I am so glad to hear that the videos have been of help to you. This is really the type of advice my husband and I implement on a daily basis to get through the difficult patches. Marriage is WORK, but it is so worth it! Hang in there, and thanks for sharing! Also, Happy New Year!

  • @eformationqueen U have def given me a more positive approach to those otherwise frustrating moments in marriage. I will use this tool in addition w/ the other vids u have. Thanks!

  • @eformationqueen thanks. I've been finding things to laugh about now thanks to this vid. I tend to get very frustrated over things similar to what u've mentioned, but i think that i've found a new approach to prevent me from dwelling on them. Thanks again.
