Part 1 - A representative of www.familyfarmdefenders.org, John Peck exposes the hoaxes and dangers inherent in organic food labeling and corporate farming. Peck explains the source food poisoning, Mad Cow, codex alimentarius and other food issues. He notes that without rigorous inspection and rules, food certified as organic can be grown with slave (or prison) labor. When faced with the option of certified organic or local, buy local, Peck says. Peck was interviewed at the Family Farm Defenders booth at the 2008 Midwest Renewable Energy Fair - 20June2008.

-continued- When I was a kid in the 50's my father was a Janitor and my mom stayed home to raise my sisters and I. We lived in a new 4 bedroom house and bought a new car every 4 or 5 years. Took nice vacations every summer. Show me a Janitor now that can BUY a new home and a new car AND his wife can stay home to raise the kids. I can hardly believe it myself!
Globalization, and an open border has destroyed the middle class just like corporatization has destroyed the "family farm"...

The same thing has happened to the "family farm" that has been happening to the American "middle class". They are no longer efficient and have been outsourced into extinction. If you were an American lucky enough to have lived between 1945 and 1975 you can at least recognize what was meant by people who say "the good old days". The "good old days" are now a thing of the past and our grandchildren will not even believe the stories we tell them about living in the America of the 1950's...

Organic foods usually haven't been treated with fungicides. Many fungi and molds are known to be cancer causing. Organic foods should be washed thoroughly to remove carcinogens.
